Saw your post this morning but didn't have time to watch the video. Well I watched it now. OMG 201's look awesome with monoblocks. I had no idea. I need one. Now.

Thanks for watching. Wish I was as cool as those pimps. Maybe next september we'll get something fun, depending on what happens. I have never been a big german car fan, but I think I am becoming a Benz fan.

I know what you mean. I was a BMW guy until I started working for Benz. Everything is built much better, designed much better for servicing, more reliable. And the cars they build, sometimes, just make you say "fuck, that's epic". Sure, BMW makes better handling and sometimes better looking cars, but ask just about anyone who's worked on both and they will say the same as I have. I would rather live with any Mercedes over any BMW. Audi isn't even in the same league.

That must have been hard to start working for Benz being a BMW guy!
I know when I lived in west africa, benz's outnumbered bmw's by quite a ratio (20:1 maybe?) for sure. There was the odd bmw here and there, but there were a lot more benz.
I am guessing because benz from the 1980's put on kilometers like noone's business.
For me personally I could never own an Audi or VW, don't tell the guys here though. hahaha.

It was definitely strange at first. But they won me over pretty quickly.
Benz was a much bigger company than BMW for a long time which is probably part of the reason there were more of them in Africa. The other reason I think is that they're so much more reliable. How many 163 ML's do you see compared to first gen X5's? You could make the same comparison with most models, BMW's start dropping like flies at higher mileage.
